I was at the protests in London yesterday, massive turn out, police said 10,000, BBC said it was more like 50,000.

And the BBC tend to estimate conservatively.

At the only point I was on high enough ground to over people, the protest did not appear to end in either direction, it was incredible.

Someone started a fire outside the Israeli embassy gates as well I think, I could see the smoke but not much else.

What's going on there isn't war, it is massacre

No Doves Fly Here
-----------------------
The sky is empty and it's turning different shades of colour,
It never did before and we never asked for war.
My mind is empty and my body different shapes of torture,
It never was before and we never asked for war.
No-one is moving and no doves fly here,
No-one is thinking and no doves fly here,
No-one remembers beyond all this fear,
No doves fly here

The buildings are empty and the countryside is wasteland,
It never was before and we never asked for war.
The playgrounds are empty and the children limbless corpses,
They never were before and they never asked for war.
No-one is moving and no doves fly here,
No-one is thinking and no doves fly here,
No-one remembers beyond all this fear,
No doves fly here

The Mob

Their army has denied the phosphorus use outright, despite photographic and video evidence, and civilians going into hospitals to be treated for phosphorus burns.

It is making me sick.

Especially the idiots here in the UK who keep asking why nobody is protesting against Hamas.

The UK has declared Hamas a terrorist organisation, subjects them to economic sanctions, maintains no official diplomatic links with them, denies their legitimacy as an elected authority.
In short, they take a hugely strong political stance against them.

Whereas, the UK recognises Israel, has exchanged ambassadors with her, does regular lucrative business with Israel.
And when Israel starts this massacre, responds with nothing more severe than a toothless chiding.

And the moment people protest, pro-Israeli's start to cry that they are being victimised, raising torrents of righteous indignation at the 13 or so dead soldiers, whilst scarcely batting an eyelid at the 850 dead Gazans (women, children, non-combatants, a few Hamas soldiers), paying them little more than lip-service.

Then a pro-israeli rally has the gall to come out in protest last sunday and say the word "peace" with a straight face.

It makes me so angry.

the white phosphorus is quite obvious when you see it, an aeriel explosion raining fire like a small town fireworks accident.

If that makes your blood boil, then feast your eyes on this little neo-con blog.

Note the double standard, the use of propaganda to discredit Palestinian supporters and the biased language they use.

lol I love how in their manifesto they say they aren't guided by ideology, right before they outline their ideology, and the ones they disagree with

Oh yes. Or the way they are making a very concentrated effort to create propaganda framing pro-Palestinian demonstrators as vile, hate filled, child abusing, extremists and the pro-Israel demonstrators (who just so happen to be defending outright murder) as happy, positive, constructive citizens.

I was going to blog it and point it out all these things, but it wasn't worth my time.

Coincidently, anyone notice how there is no real effort to stop the bombs until the UN building is attacked by Israel? I mean, it's a very sad thing and countries will express their disapproval, until an organ of a governmental body such as the UN is hit. Then the politicians suddenly give a damn. "Oh noez! Our buildinz was hit. Somethin must be done to stop dis outrage!... And yeah, help the Palestinians... of course."

Just thought I'd let you know, I've blogged the feed you provided. My connections too crappy for me to watch the feed properly, so unfortunately I cannot witness to what's going on.

But my sympathies go out the victims. This certainly is a massacre.
